Theatrical Trailers

Theatrical trailers are advertisements for soon-to-be-released films.
The main purpose of the trailer is to attract an audience to the film being advertised, they usually draw from the most exciting, funny, or otherwise noteworthy parts of the film but in abbreviated form and without producing spoilers.

Documentary Trailers

In the complex business of getting your documentary funded and distributed, having a dynamic, well-edited video promo has become a critical element in a successful strategy.

Trailers for documentaries are used in two ways. The first trailer format is to impress funding entities with the importance of the project and the value of contributing to it. The other trailer format is created from the completed documentary and is used to showcase it to potential distributors, broadcasters & home video releasing companies.

Teasers

A teaser trailer is a short trailer intended to entice the audience about an upcoming film. The purpose of the teaser trailer is to let the audience know that the movie is coming up in the near future, and to add to the hype of the upcoming movie event.
